Video
A few years back, Video Production was what I thought was going to be my career path with no further questions asked, until Graphic Design became a possibility. That being said, it's still absolutely possible that I could go in this direction as I've spent a lot of time learning and tinkering in this area. YouTube is what initially got me into Video Production, and more specifically, video editing. I then proceeded to take a summer course at the New York Film Academy, and after enjoying that, I decided to take Video Production classes in high school. Here are some examples of the kinds of videos I've managed to work on over the past 2 years.
Annoying Alexi - The Litterbug

This was one of the first major shorts we created in our first year of Video Production. The objective was to use an editing effect in order to make it look like a character was hiding behind an impossibly small or thin object, such as a pole or a traffic cone. I was heavily involved with the editing for this project and our group ended up winning a Video Production award for it.
BELIEVER - IMAGINE DRAGONS Adobe Make The Cut

At the beginning of my second year of Video Production we had our first solo project, which was one that focused exclusively on editing. After Imagine Dragons released a music video for their song Believer, they partnered up with Adobe and challenged editors to use the raw footage of the music video in order to create their own version. In my rendition, I tried to make it so the boxing match depicted was progressing the further you got into the video, ending with a knockout.
Pillow Mop Infomercial

Another project from my second year of Video Production was one in which we were asked to create our own short infomercial for an incredibly ridiculous product. My team came up with the absolute genius of an idea of the Pillow Mop, a massive stuffed animal that doubled as a mop. I was initially just the editor on this project, but as it became clear that we were going to run out of time on this project if we didn't speed it up, I ended up also doing the voiceover acting on the infomercial as well, which was something that I wasn't initially comfortable doing, but I ended up having a lot of fun with.
My Adidas (Unofficial Music Video)

By far my personal favorite video from my Video Production classes was this one. We had to create our own music video for any song with lyrics, and the final result was something I thought came off well. Our team put so much work on the filming of this project in order to get it done in time, and editing came down to the wire with winter break on the horizon, but we got it done. This ended up becoming one of my teacher's favorite knockoff music video projects and we won another Video Production award for this.
